2012 Fall World Peace TT Pictures – Plano TT club hosted its Fall World Peace Table Tennis Tournament on December 1 at the Tom Muehlenbeck center. Grant Bergmann has made his photos from the tournament available at the following link: Pics

 

Charity Program Update – November 12, 2012 – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $202 to the American Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.

 

2012 DFWTT Fall Open – DFWTT hosted its yearly Fall Open at the JCC on November 10. The matches took place on 16 tables and the JCC facility provided excellent wood flooring and lighting for this tournament. Thanks to all the participants that joined us.

2012 DFWTT Double Ten Tournament – DFWTT hosted the Chinese Double Ten Celebration tournament at the Cimarron recreation center on September 29. Thanks to everyone for the large turnout with a total of 101 players at the event.

Dorothea Taschner – It is sad news to report that Dorothea Taschner, a longtime DFWTT tournament player, passed away on August 20, 2012. Our condolences go out to all her friends and family.

Charity Program Update – April 28, 2012 – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $120 to Cimarron Recreation Center (City of Irving) to raise funds for the American Heart Association.

 

NCTTA National Championships – The National College Table Tennis Championships were held in Plano at the Plano Sports Authority 2 location, on April 12 - 15. The NCTTA promotes table tennis at the collegiate level in North America. Grant Bergmann's pictures: Pics

 

2012 DFWTT Spring Open – DFWTT hosted its yearly Spring Open tournament at the JCC on April 7. The tournament features events for all different levels of play, including USATT sanctioned and non-sanctioned events. Thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament.

2012 Deca Challenge – The Jewish Community Center will host the Deca Challenge on April 22 at the JCC. This event will provide a variety of game competitions for men and women aged 50 and over. For more information: Click here

 

2012 Texas Winter Games – DFWTT hosted the Texas Winter Games Table Tennis Tournament on January 14, in Frisco Texas. Thanks to everyone who participated in the event. In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $162 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
